Bertheas & Cie has just been recognized as a French Living Heritage Company.
This label (Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant Label EPV) is a mark of recognition of the French State, rewarding firms for the excellence of their skills combining tradition, innovation and industrialization. Bertheas is now part of this group of 1400 awarded firms considering its strong economic heritage :
– very distinctive assets and skills to manufacture technical and elastic textiles for various sectors (medical, defense, fashion, sport…).
– the ability to grow, deploy and adapt its know-hows through generations (from 1929 till now) keeping pace with deep changes (evolutions in yarns and machines; development of smart textiles…).
